Fourth of July Parade

Mary and I were part of a small group who walked in the Fairborn, Ohio Fourth of July parade yesterday for the Dayton Chapter of the Red Cross, in front of the chapter's emergency response vehicle. I was told by one of the parade organizers that it was their largest ever, with 133 units marching.

It was over 90 degrees out, but we waited inside the ERV with the a/c on until it was our time to go. We also had plenty of drinks and snacks inside too. The crowds applauded us!
