Substitute teaching in Ohio now!

The main hallway before the day begins.
I got my substitute teacher's license in Arizona when we lived there, but we moved before I could actually substitute. So after we moved to Ohio I got my license here and I substitited for the first time, for two days, at Fairmont High School in Kettering. It's the sixth largest high school in the state and it went very well. The students were all nice and polite and I had no problems at all. Things are very different from when I went to high school, from the way the students dress (looks like just about anything goes!) to being able to talk and eat in the library (it reminded me of a Starbucks).
