Tim Cade, First Secretary at the British Embassy in Washington, D.C., presented plaques to me and Mary at the 8th Annual British Car Meet on May 6 in front of the British Transportation Museum because both our cars won in our class!
I have a 1959 Triumph TR3A and Mary has a 1977 MGB.
Cade read a letter from Dame Karen Pierce, the British ambassador, which was significant because the car show was the same day as the coronation of Prince Charles as King.
