Pulling my weight at National Staff College

I drove our van over to Mrs. B's Home Cooking for lunch one day.
I've been a seminar adviser at CAP's annual Cadet Office School several times and would have applied to do so again this year, but it's the same week as Rich and Demi's wedding in Hawaii. Mary insisted I go to the wedding, so instead of COS, I applied to be a seminar adviser at National Staff College the second week of April. NSC is one of the requirements for CAP's highest professional award, the Gil Rob Wilson Award. Unlike COS, where seminar advisers are paired with an AF officer, we're on our own at NSC. But no worries. It was fantastic! I had a really great group, from a police officer and an RN to a TV weatherman and a Superior Court judge. They were as fine a group of officers as I've ever had the pleasure to work with. And their practicum was outstanding. It's also always fun to be at CAP's headquarters, at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama. I hade a nice lunch with Julie Debardelaben, CAP's deputy director for public affairs. Bravo!
