Annual conference in Nashville was a success

As president of the Dayton Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, I represented the chapter at PRSA's annual conference, called ICON, in Nashville. I attended with University of Dayton student Terrance White, who received a scholarship from the chapter to attend the conference. He is in the UD Class of 2025, majoring in Communication Management, Marketing and Public Relations/Advertising.

Terrance is also Phi Beta Chi Honors Communications Fraternity, President Fitz Center for Leadership in Community, Social Media Intern, Vice President Inter-Fraternity Council, Vice President of Diversity, Equality and Inclusion, Sigma Alpha Epsilon Social Fraternity, Member Flyer News, Podcast Manager, Advertising Associate, Academic Affairs Committee, Student Representative.

Also there was Mark Weinstein, executive director of public relations at Cedarville University and a former Dayton chapter president. He was named the chapter's 2023 Communicator of the Year, and currently serves as a board member for PRSA's East Central District.
