The FBI Cincinnati Citizens Academy Alumni Association held its annual meeting to update members and graduates on the status and happenings of our alumni association. The Cincinnati Field Office hosted this year’s gatherings, complete with dinner and dessert.
"2022 has been busy, but meaningful. It’s been challenging, but rewarding. Sometimes painful, but inspiring. I’m proud of our work, definitely proud of our partnerships and our service to the communities,” said Special Agent in Charge Will Rivers.
He shared some highlights of this year’s biggest and toughest cases for the annual State of the FBI. One of the most historic cases in FBI history happened in Cincinnati last year, the case of a Chinese spy. He remarked on how hard his agents worked on that particular investigation and how rewarding the prosecution process was for all involved.
Rivers also praised the quick response in which it took only 1 minute and 26 seconds for 9 agents to get to the guard shack on the day of the attempted breach, and how it was a true testament to their bravery.
